When I graduated high school the Internet wasn't more then a dos program that dialed up snippets of useless information from other computers. Nothing like what it is today. Today, the Internet is a valuable tool in my search for my next career position.

A person can find a career that matches their skills, or what skills they need for a certain position. The information that a job seeker can obtain from onet online can help them tailor their resume to the position they are applying for, when there is no ad for it.

School aged children should be introduced to onet online and utilize it when making choices for their future. The schools don't do enough to help kids succeed in the world and it is up to parents to help fill the huge gap. Schools need to partner with government sponsored programs to teach children how to find a job, write a resume, and get into the right educational programs. Until then there is the Internet and parents to help direct them.
