Today I found a wonderfull little independent coffee shop in High River, Alberta. It was one of those places that is filled with character and unique items. Where there are comfy seats and board games to welcome you to stick around for awhile. There are differentt coffees from around the world full of different flavors, choices of specialty coffees and teas. While I sat there soaking up the atmosphere it got me thinking about the 15-20 minute lines to get a double double or the higher prices to get that Starbucks experience.
Why do so many people continue to choose the big brand name coffee houses instead of supporting the unique and special independent coffee shops? I have my own thoughts but I would like to hear your thoughts on the subject.
